In 2002 (at age 65) I was a break-even poker player — at best. Having a great passion for the game and a sincere desire to improve, I knew I had to relieve all the stress in my life, I finally found the way to turn my life around.
The next year, in 2003, Card Player Magazine ranked me in the Top Ten among Pro Tournament Players with 19 final tables, 4 wins and 4 seconds. My total lifetime recorded pro-poker tournament record is 70 final tables, 16 wins, 12 seconds and total winnings of $1.25M.
I turned my poker results around in 2003 by diminishing stress from my game and my life. I was able to do this because I developed the ability to MAINTAIN FOCUS AND BE IN THE ZONE more of the time than I ever thought possible.
As a result I authored No-Limit Life, which received from USA Book News their 2005 Best Book Finalist award in the category, not poker, but Psychology/Mental Health.
